Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 216

Scouting is unique. It is a movement dedicated to bringing out the best in people. The overall mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to build character in our youth, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness. Cub Scouting doesn’t emphasize winning as an end result, but rather the far more demanding task of doing one’s best.

Cub Scout Pack 216 consists of boys in grades 1 through 5 from around Lionville and Chester Springs. Most of our boys go to school at Lionville or Pickering Valley Elementary Schools, but they can come from any school. The Cub Scout Pack is made up of different Dens. There’s a den for each grade and the boys stay in their den with other friends as they progress through each grade/rank.

Cub Scout Pack 216 is chartered by St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lionville as part of their youth ministry program.

Posted by jmertz on Feb 12 2024 - 7:48pm

Hello Webelo and AOL scout families,

Saturday May 4th will be the annual Scouts Orienteering competition, while the focus for this event is at the troop level, there is an opportunity for our newest troop members (current AOLs) and our most senior cubs (Current Webelos) to also participate in this event. At the cub scout skill level, the scouts will be paired up and complete the course with a parent in tow. The current AOL scouts will have the opportunity to compete as a pair of scouts. With this upcoming opportunity in mind, I am looking to plan 1-2 sessions of practice courses at local permanent orienteering courses. If you as an adult or your scout is interested in participating, please let me know so we can plan to have a fun day out learning the skills required.
