Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 216

Scouting is unique. It is a movement dedicated to bringing out the best in people. The overall mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to build character in our youth, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness. Cub Scouting doesn’t emphasize winning as an end result, but rather the far more demanding task of doing one’s best.

Cub Scout Pack 216 consists of boys and girls in grades K through 5 from around Lionville and Chester Springs. Most of our scouts go to school at Lionville, Pickering Valley or Uwchlan Hills Elementary Schools, but they can come from any school. The Cub Scout Pack is made up of different Dens. There’s a den for each grade and the scouts stay in their den with other friends as they progress through each grade/rank.

Cub Scout Pack 216 is chartered by St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lionville as part of their youth ministry program.

Our annual Blue & Gold Dinner, where our Arrow of Light Scouts cross over into Scouts BSA, will occur Thursday, February 26th from 6-8PM. If interested in attending, please RSVP on the pack website so we can plan accordingly.

If you are interested in attending summer camp with Pack 216 at Camp Ware, please sign up on the pack website as soon as possible. While the early bird registration doesn't end until April 15th, now is typically the time spots fill up and space becomes limited. 2 years ago not everyone who wanted to attend was able to.

Greetings Pack 216!
This year's Pinewood Derby will be Saturday, February 7 from 9 AM - 12 PM. at St. Paul's church upstairs.
Friday, February 6 from 6 - 8 PM we will have our registration, at St. Paul's Church upstairs, so that will be the deadline to finish your car. At registration your car will be weighed (no more than 5 oz!), measured, and lubricated one last time.

As a reminder, Pack 216 will be holding our annual winter camping weekend Friday, January 9th to Sunday, January 11th at Camp Ware (239 Jubilee Rd, Peach Bottom, PA 17563). The cost will be $20 per person, which will cover food costs and the use of the facilities for the weekend. We will be sleeping indoors in heated cabins with bunk beds, so it is a great opportunity for those who may not have been camping before or simply prefer to sleep indoors. To attend, please RSVP on the Pack 216 website. This is a family friendly event, so parents and siblings are welcome to attend.
