Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 216

Scouting is unique. It is a movement dedicated to bringing out the best in people. The overall mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to build character in our youth, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness. Cub Scouting doesn’t emphasize winning as an end result, but rather the far more demanding task of doing one’s best.

Cub Scout Pack 216 consists of boys and girls in grades K through 5 from around Lionville and Chester Springs. Most of our scouts go to school at Lionville, Pickering Valley or Uwchlan Hills Elementary Schools, but they can come from any school. The Cub Scout Pack is made up of different Dens. There’s a den for each grade and the scouts stay in their den with other friends as they progress through each grade/rank.

Cub Scout Pack 216 is chartered by St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lionville as part of their youth ministry program.

Scout Uniforms

If you are a new participant in scouts or are simply in need of a new scout uniform, cub scout uniforms can be purchased at the Neubauer Scout Shop, located at the PARC building in Exton (1 Scouting Wy, Exton, PA 19341). Store hours are Monday through Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Uniforms can also be purchased online at https://www.scoutshop.org/.

Fall Camping Trip - Spook-O-Ree: Fri Oct 17th to Sun Oct 19th

Pack 216 will be attending the fall Spook-O-Ree camping weekend put on by Chester County Council. The event starts Friday evening, October 17th through Sunday Morning, October 19th and will take place at Camp Horeshoe. The cost is $40 per scout and $35 per adult. This will be tent camping with all food / meals being provided. Scouts / parents are welcome to attend both nights, one night (Fri or Sat) or Saturday day only.

I hope everyone is doing well and had a great summer! With the school year starting this week, Pack 216 leadership is very excited to be starting the 2025 - 2026 scouting year as well! As you are aware, this summer Pack 216 will be attending Cub Scout Overnight Summer Camp at Camp Ware from Wednesday, July 16th through Sunday, July 20th. We currently have 28 individuals signed up but still have 12 available spots for anyone who is still interested in attending. If you are interested in attending, please email me directly by Thursday, May 22nd with the number of days attending. After that date, the spots will no longer be available.
